In Detroit, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in Michigan, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Fenkell Tire Shop Inc at (313) 740-7557; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 175 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded used tire shops in Detroit.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It might scare some because its not in a "state of the art" new building. Plus its in the heart of Brightmoor Michigan. The building looks like a shack that someone just decided to throw up a cardboard sign saying "Used Tires Sold Here!" However if you can get past that, they showed me good customer service and even gave me a discount! They take cash, and even cash app! However they didn't take debit which surprised me (especially since they literally have the "Visa/Master card, American Express, etc. Excepted here" sticker on the window of the shop!!!!) But other than that, I'm glad I went there. I would consider going back.

Needed a set of tires and Danny was amazing. He responded really fast, was super helpful, and had better prices than anywhere else I looked. The tires were exactly like the posting said and were in great condition. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Shoutout to Danny and his team!
